the future

The future is partly mapped out for Jukebox. Some of the proposed ideas are listed below, but bear in mind that these are just ideas. Some may make it in to the program while others may not.

There is also no time scale as to when anything will be done, so it could be soon, it could be several versions away, or even the next ! I am sorry I can't make any promises but bear with me and it will be included at some point.

• It will support 4-bit LCD drivers and VFD displays and other output devices.
• It will be able to pick tracks randomly to play from the information you supply, such as genre and total playing time.
• Be able to fix small problems itself such as unreadable temporary storage areas etc. to make the unit fairly table! Be able to make it's own play-lists on the fly so that you don't need to get out a your copy of WinAmp (or whatever) every time you want to make a play list .
• To be faster and still more reliable.
• Will support many more input devices, from keypad to Infra-Red.
• Have an external software-controller to make use in the car even easier.
• Be able to handle MP3 CDs if you have a CDR drive in your system.
• Be able to copy tracks from a CD without having to use Windows Explorer.
• Continue to add features and configurability as needed / requested.
